William Hill Sportsbook Overview
William Hill Sportsbook is one of the largest and oldest bookmakers in the world. Started in the 1930’s in the UK William Hill has grown to an enormous publicly traded FTSE 250 company with operations in regulated markets around the world. The William Hill brand will be familiar to Vegas sports bettors as they have had operations in Nevada from 2009.
Following the repeal of PASPA they struck a partnership with ElDorado Resorts, which is now believed to include the Caesars properties as part of the pending merger. This deal will give William Hill access to a wide swath of the US markets. They operate retail sportsbooks and racebooks in Florida, Iowa, Indiana, Mississippi, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Rhode Island, and West Virginia. To date they have launched their mobile app in New Jersey, West Virginia, Iowa, Illinois, Colorado and Nevada. They also expect to launch in Indiana in the near future.
William Hill Sportsbook Sign up bonus
William Hill is offering new players up to $160 in promotional funds. Bonus funds are split between a $10 credit just for opening an account and a 100% deposit match bonus on the first deposit. At this time these promotions are only available to New Jersey players.
$10 Sign Up Credit
New players who use the promo code WH150 when signing up will receive a $10 site credit upon verification of their account without needing to deposit. In order to withdraw these funds you will only need to wager an amount equal to your qualifying deposit and deposit bonus, so if you don’t deposit any funds you will only need to place a total of $10 in bets with these funds before you can withdraw any winnings.
Deposit Match
New players can also receive a 100% bonus match on their first deposit up to $150. While this figure is considerably lower than offers by other sports books, the terms and conditions associated with the bonus are much more favorable. In order to withdraw funds you will need to bet a total equal to your first deposit and your deposit bonus. For example if you deposit $150 and receive the full $150 deposit match bonus you would need to bet a total of $300 before you can withdraw your bonus funds. You may still withdraw funds prior to hitting the rollover requirement but will forfeit the entirety of the bonus. William Hill does not have a rollover requirement on the proceeds of any bet made with bonus funds. For example if you deposited $150 to get the full deposit match in addition to the $10 sign up bonus, for a total of $160 in bonus funds and $150 in cash, and bet $50 at +200 and won then immediately withdrew the entirety of your funds the $160 in promotional bets would be removed from your account but the $100 in winnings from your bet could be withdrawn along with your original $150. William Hill also has no posted minimum odds for either the use of the bonus funds or bets that qualify towards the rollover requirement. All in all while this bonus amount is smaller than others available, the limited terms associated with it still make this a strong offer.

Loyalty programs
William Hill does offer a rewards program for their retail betting locations. Players who participate in the program accumulate points at a rate of 1 point per $1 wagered on straight bets, 2 points per $1 wagered on parlays and teasers and 5 points per $1 wagered on parlay cards. Points are redeemed at a rate of $1 in free bets per 1,000 points. It is unclear if the company plans to offer this program or something similar to their mobile and online customers.
