Premier League Matchday 30 June 20 Betting Preview

Watford vs Leicester City

Time: 7:30 AM EST

Odds: Watford +270, Draw +250, Leicester City +105

Last Game: Leicester City 2 : 0 Watford

Watch: NBCSN

Watford find return to Premiere League action in 17th, tied on points with 18th place Bournemouth but ahead on goal differential.  They were on a horrendous run of form entering the break winning only one of their previous six.  Gerard Deulofeu and Daryl Janmaat are both ruled out for the hosts.

Leicester City return to the Premiere League in 3rd, and sit a comfortable five points above Chelsea in 4th. Ricardo Pereira and Ayoze Pérez are both listed as doubtful for the visitors.

Watford have been a difficult matchup for Leicester at Vicarage Road, where the hosts have taken the last three straight all by a score of 2-1.  Watford entered the break on a strong run of form at home, and had the 4th best home record in their previous six matches heading into the hiatus.  Leicester have been the 4th best team in the Premier league when playing away, but struggled heading into the break only winning two of their previous six.  Leicester have had a fantastic season and rank 3rd in both goals for an against.  Watford will be fighting hard for points but the visitors look to be too much for them in this one.

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Arsenal

Time: 10:00 AM EST

Odds: Brighton & Hove Albion +200, Draw +240, Arsenal +135

Last Game: Arsenal 1 : 2 Brighton & Hove Albion

Watch: NBCSN

Brighton & Hove Albion sit in 15th for the return of the Premier League.  Brighton are a mere two points above the drop zone.  José Izquierdo has been ruled out for this match, and he is the only injury for the hosts.

Arsenal come into this match following a 3-0 drubbing at Manchester City.  Arsenal remain in 9th and sit six points back of a European spot.  David Luiz will miss this game due to suspension, while Granit Xhaka and Pablo Mari are both ruled out after picking up an injury in the Manchester City match.

These two sides have only faced off at The Amex stadium twice previously, with one Brighton win and one draw.  Brighton will be hoping to reverse the poor run of form they took into the break where they went winless in twelve. Arsenal will also be looking to end their poor run of form away, where they are winless in six straight matches. These two sides compare closely defensively, while Arsenal have the edge offensively.  Arsenal is unlikely to inspire much confidence after their performance against Manchester City, so look for this match to end in a draw.

West Ham vs Wolverhampton

Time: 12:30 PM EST

Odds: West Ham +270, Draw +230, Wolverhampton +110

Last Game: Wolverhampton 2: 0 West Ham

Watch: NBC

West Ham return to Premier League action in 16th, tied with Watford in 17th and Bournemouth in 18th on points but ahead of both on goal differential.  Angelo Ogbonna has been ruled out for the home side.

Wolverhampton return to the Premier League in 7th place.  Wolves sit a single point back from another European berth and five points back from a Champions League berth.  Nuno Espírito Santo is expected to have his full roster available for this match.

West Ham has won three of the last five matches when hosting Wolverhampton.  The Hammers home record has been uncharacteristically poor this year, and they have the 2nd worst home record in the Premier league winning only 4 matches out of 14.  Wolverhampton meanwhile have been one of the better teams away from home and have the 6th best road record in the league.  Wolves are the better side here and without their infamous home crowd West Ham will be hard pressed to extract some points in this one.  Expect a low scoring game as Wolves have allowed the 4th fewest goals away.

Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace

Time: 2:45 PM EST

Odds: Bournemouth +150, Draw +220, Crystal Palace +200

Last Game: Crystal Palace 1: 0 Bournemouth

Watch: NBC Gold

Bournemouth enter this match in 18th, tied with 16th place Watfird and 17th place West Ham on points but behind on goal differential.  Ryan Fraser will sit this one out for the hosts due to an ongoing contract dispute with the club.

Crystal Palace enter this match in 11th and a win here could see them finish the week as high as 9th.  Manager Roy Hodgson looks to have his full roster available going into this match.

This has been an evenly matched affair, with two draws and a win for each side in the last four matches.  Bournemouth have struggled at home this year but are unbeaten in their last three home matches.  Palace came into the break on a high note, winning three straight and will hope that momentum carries over to the restart.  Offensively and defensively there is little difference between these sides, however the loss of Ryan Fraser for the hosts will make this a tough matchup.  A draw looks likely here with a slight edge to Crystal Palace.
