The Bundesliga returns this week with a matchup between two teams looking to extend their unbeaten streaks.  Hosts Hoffenhiem are coming off a 2-2 draw away at Fortuna Düsseldorf.  Unbeaten in their last four matches Hoffenhiem sit in 7th just two points back of 6th place and the final European spot.  Benjamin Hübner is out due to suspension while Jacob Bruun Larsen and Sargis Adamyan are doubtful for this one.

RB Leipzig come into this game following yet another draw, this one a disappointing 1-1 affair with last place Paderborn, and are now unbeaten in their last twelve matches in all competitions.  Leipzig remain in 3rd place, but having draw 5 of their last 8 matches they now sit a mere three points above 4th place Borussia Monchengladbach.  Dayot Upamecano will sit this one out due to suspension, while Ibrahima Konaté and Ethan Ampadu are both doubtful as they work to return from injury.

Hoffenhiem have sacked manager Alfred Schreuder and have yet to sign a replacement, meanwhile RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann spent four years at the helm of Hoffenheim before leaving for Leipzig last summer and should have a strong working knowledge of how to best carve up Hoffenheim.  Leipzig is the better side here and without a manager this looks to be a tough matchup for Hoffenhiem.  Leipzig have one of the best offenses in the league, scoring the 3rd most goals.  Leipzig also have one of the stingiest defensive units in the Bundesliga with only Bayern Munich conceding fewer goals.  Given that Hoffenhiem have conceded the 2nd most goals in the Bundesliga at home this year, expect them to have their hands full with a deadly Leipzig side.
