LaLiga Matchday 32 June 28 Betting Preview

Levante vs Real Betis

Time: 8:00 AM EST

Odds: Levante +170, Draw +240, Real Betis +155

Last Game: Real Betis 3 : 1 Levante

Levante enter this match following a 1-0 loss at home to Atlético Madrid.  Levante now sit comfortably in 12th.  Nikola Vukcevic will miss this match as he serves a suspension, while Gonzalo Melero’s status is indoubt with an injury.

Real Betis come into this one after beating Espanyol 1-0 at home on Thursday.  Real Betis now sit in 13th, eleven points above the drop zone.  Emerson is suspended for this match while Javi García and Joaquín are both listed as doubtful for the visitors.

Levante have been below average at home and have the 13th best home record in LaLiga.  Levante are scoring the 7th fewest goals and allowing the 9th fewest goals against.  Real Betis have struggled away where they have the 5th worst record in the league, scoring the 3rd fewest and allowing the 6th most against.  Real Betis have had the edge in recent visits to Levante, winning three and drawing one.  These sides are evenly matched with the hosts having the slight edge.  A home win or draw looks likely in a game that doesn’t have much promise offensively.

Villarreal vs Valencia

Time: 11:00 AM EST

Odds: Villarreal +115, Draw +250, Valencia +220

Last Game: Valencia 2 : 1 Villarreal

Villarreal come into this match following a 2-2 draw at home to Sevilla in midweek.  Villarreal retain the 6th spot, and now sit six points from a Champion League berth.  Defender Alberto Moreno and midfielder Manu Trigueros are both suspended for this match.

Valencia are coming off a 1-0 loss away to Eibar on Thursday.  Valencia now sit in 8th, but are just two points back of Villarreal and a European berth.  Eliaquim Mangala will be suspended for the visitors here.

Villarreal have been an average side at home and have the 11th best home record in LaLiga.  Villarreal have been strong offensively, scoring the 5th most goals while their defense has been poor and they are allowing the 6th most goals against.  Valencia have struggled away this campaign and have the 6th worst away record in the league.  Valencia rank 12th in away goals scored but have allowed the 3rd most goals against.  Valencia have had the slight edge in this one, winning three and drawing one of the previous six meetings.  Villarreal are the better side here and have been playing well since the restart, going unbeaten in their last four matches, so a home win looks likely in what should be a wide open high scoring match.

Granada vs Eibar

Time: 1:30 PM EST

Odds: Granada +140, Draw +185, Eibar +240

Last Game: Eibar 3 : 0 Granada

Watch: beIN Sports

Granada come into this match following a 0-0 away draw to Leganés in midweek.  Granada have slid to 10th but sit just five points from a European berth.  Álvaro Vadillo, Dimitri Foulquier and Rui Silva are all doubtful for the hosts.

Eibar enter this match on the heels of a 1-0 home win over Valencia on Thursday.  Eibar remain in 17th and now sit six points clear of the drop zone.  Sergi Enrich is suspended for the visitors here while Anaitz Arbilla’s status is in doubt.

Granada have been strong at home where they have the 6th best record in LaLiga, holding opponents to the 2nd fewest goals against but scoring just the 5th fewest themselves.  Eibar have been poor away this season, where they have the 4th worst away record in LaLiga.  Eibar are scoring the fewest goals while allowing the 5th most against.  Eibar have enjoyed their recent visits to Granada, wining two and drawing one of their previous three visits.  Granada are the better side and look likely to take all three here in what looks to be a low scoring affair.

Espanyol vs Real Madrid

Time: 4:00 PM EST

Odds: Espanyol +700, Draw +360, Real Madrid -250

Last Game: Real Madrid 2 : 0 Espanyol

Watch: beIN Sports

Espanyol are coming off a 1-0 away loss to Real Betis on Thursday.  Espanyol remain in last and are now eight points from safety.  Defenders Leandro Cabrera and Bernardo both return from suspension and should start, while Dídac Vilá is doubtful for this one.

Real Madrid enter this match following a 2-0 home win over Real Mallorca on Wednesday.  Barcelona temporarily overtook Real Madrid, but a win here would put them back in 1st place.  Casemiro returns from suspension here while Luka Modric and Ferland Mendy both sit out due to suspension.  Nacho remains questionable with a knock here.

Espanyol have been poor at home, and with only two wins all year they have the worst record in LaLiga.  Espanyol have scored the 2nd fewest goals while they are allowing the most goals against.  Real Madrid have been excellent away this year, and have the best away record in LaLiga.  Real Madrid are scoring more goals than anyone away while also allowing the fewest goals against.  Real Madrid’s previous trips to Espanyol have been fruitful, with the visitors winning five of the last six matches.  Real Madrid shouldn’t have much of a problem taking the full three points and retaking 1st place in the league here.
