Serie A matchday 25 June 20 Betting Preview

Torino vs Parma

Time: 1:30 PM EST

Odds: Torino +120, Draw +220, Parma +250

Last Game: Parma 3 : 2 Torino

Watch: ESPN+

Torino return to Serie A action in 15th following a disastrous run of seven straight losses.  Sitting only two points above the drop zone Torino will be feeling the pressure to get the restart off on the right foot.  Simone Verdi, Cristian Ansaldi and Daniele Baselli will all miss this match due to injuries.

Parma return to play in 9th place and sit only a point back of a European spot.  Roberto Inglese is the only Parma player missing this game as he works to regain match fitness.

This has been an evenly matched affair with three draws in Parma’s last six visits to Torino.  Torino have struggled at home and have the 16th best home record, while Parma have performed admirably away and have the 8th best record on the road in Serie A.  Torino have been poor both offensively and defensively this year, ranking in the bottom 4 in Serie A in both goals for and against.  Parma have one of of the best defensive units in Serie A, allowing the 5th fewest goals against.  Expect a low scoring affair when Torino’s anemic offense meets Parma’s stout defense, the visitors look like a good value bet here.

Hellas Verona vs Cagliari

Time: 3:45 PM EST

Odds: Hellas Verona -105, Draw +240, Cagliari +300

Last Game: Cagliari 1 : 1 Hellas Verona

Watch: ESPN +

Hellas Verona return to play in 8th place and sit a point back from a European berth.  The hosts are expected to be at full strength for this match.

Cagliari find themselves in 12th for the resumption of Serie A and are winless in their last twelve matches.  João Pedro will miss this game due to suspension and Radja Nainggolan is unavailable due to injury.

Verona have won their last three straight home matches against Cagliari, with two clean sheets in that stretch.  Verona have played well at home this year, they have the 5th best home record in Serie A and are unbeaten in their previous four with three straight wins.  Cagliari have been an average team when playing away from home and rank 11th in Serie A on the road.  Verona owe their success to their defensive prowess and have allowed the 4th fewest goals against in Serie A.  This has the makings of a low scoring match with Verona getting the win.
