Brescia vs Genoa

Time: 11:15 AM EST

Odds: Brescia +185, Draw +240, Genoa +145

Last Game: Genoa 3 : 1 Brescia

Watch : ESPN +

Brescia come into this match following a 1-1 draw away at Fiorentina, their 14th straight match without a win.  Brescia remain in 20th and sit eight points from safety.  Andrea Cistana, Mario Balotelli and Jhon Chancellor will all miss this match for the home side.

Genoa enter this match following a 4-1 loss at home to Parma.  Genoa now sit in 17th, tied with 18th place Lecce on points. Domenico Criscito and Ivan Radovanovic are out for the visitors here.

This matchup has been all Genoa in their previous visits, with the visitors taking two wins and two draws from the previous four meetings.  Brescia have been terrible at home, and with just a single win all year they have the worst record in Serie A at home.  Brescia are scoring the 3rd fewest and allowing the 2nd most goals against at home.  Things haven’t been much better for Genoa when playing away and they have the 5th worst record in Serie A, scoring the 12th most goals  while allowing the 2nd most against.  Neither side is likely to inspire much confidence here, with a high scoring draw looking likely.

Cagliari vs Torino

Time: 1:30 PM EST

Odds: Cagliari +155, Draw +220, Torino +185

Last Game: Torino 1 : 1 Cagliari

Watch: ESPN 2/ESPN 3

Cagliari enter this match following a 1-0 away win at SPAL that ended a run of four straight losses.  Cagliari now sit in 10th and remain seven points from a european berth.  Luca Ceppitelli and Luca Cigarini return from suspension for the hosts.

Torino enter this match following a 1-0 home win over Udinese that ended a run of eight straight matches without a win.  Torino now sit in 14th and are six points above the drop zone.  Torino come into this match without any lineup concerns.

Torino’s have had the edge when visiting Cagliari recently, with the visitors winning three and drawing one of their previous six visits.  Cagliari have been average at home where they have the 11th best record in Serie A, scoring the 7th most goals while allowing the 3rd most against.  Torino have struggled away and after losing four straight now have the 6th worst record in Serie A, scoring the 7th fewest goals while allowing the 8th most against.  The hosts are the better side here and should be expected to get the win here in a game that doesn’t promise much defense from either side.

Lazio vs Fiorentina

Time: 3:45 PM EST

Odds: Lazio -130, Draw +270, Fiorentina +370

Last Game: Fiorentina 1 : 2 Lazio

Watch: ESPN +

Lazio come into this match on the heels of a crushing 3-2 away loss to Atalanta that has put the hosts title hopes in jeopardy.  Lazio remain in 2nd but come into this game week four points back of Juventus.  Danilo Cataldi has been ruled out after picking up an injury against Atalanta.

Fiorentina enter this match following a 1-1 home draw to Brescia, their 3rd straight draw.  Fiorentina now sit in 13th, six points clear of the drop zone.  Top scorer Federico Chiesa will sit this match out with suspension as will veteran defender Martín Cáceres.

Fiorentina have struggled in previous visits to the capital, with with only a single win in their last six visits coming back in 2016.  Lazio have been excellent at home this year where they have yet to lose this campaign and have the 2nd best record in Serie A.  Lazio have excelled in both offense where they have scored the 2nd most home goals and defense where they have allowed the fewest goals against at home.  Fiorentina have been an average team away where they have the 11th best record and have scored the 10th most goals while allowing the 8th fewest against.  Lazio will be motivated to get back on track with a win here, and as the better side they should be expected to take the full three points against a shorthanded Fiorentina side in this one.
