FoxBet Sportsbook Overview

FoxBet Sportsbook is the result of a partnership between The Stars Group, who poker players will recognize as they also operate Poker Stars, and broadcaster Fox Sports.  This partnership, the first between a US broadcaster and a sports betting operators, has resulted in a US centric app backed by an operator with nearly two decades of experience.  FoxBet capitalizes on this relationship with the network with promos featuring a number of their on air personalities.  In addition to these promos there is a section on their home page dedicated to events airing on the network.  This allows easy navigation for players who wish to place a bet on an event they are watching.

 

FoxBet Sportsbook Sign up bonus 

FoxBet offers one of the more generous sign up bonuses in the country with up to $1,000 in bonus funds being available to new players.  These bonus funds are two separate promotions valued at up to $500 each.  New FoxBet players are eligible to receive a risk free bet of up to $500 on their first bet, as well as a bonus deposit of up to $500 on their first deposit.  New players in New Jersey and Pennsylvania are eligible to receive both bonuses. 

Risk Free Bet 

New players first bet is a risk free bet up to $500.  There is no opt in required to qualify for this promotion, simply place your first bet of up to $500 on a market of -200 or greater within 30 days of verifying your account.  You are paid as normal if your first bet wins.  However, a losing first bet results in a free bet equal to the amount of your wager.  FoxBet will credit the bonus funds to your account within 24 hours of your first bet being settled.  The bonus expires after 30 days and, like the original bet, needs to be wagered on a market of -200 or greater.  Finally players will need to play through the bonus funds 1x before they are eligible for withdrawal.   

Deposit Match 

In addition to the risk free bet, new FoxBet players will also enjoy a deposit match bonus.  New players are eligible to have 50% of their first deposit matched in bonus funds up to $500.  In order to get the maximum bonus you will need to deposit $1,000.  There is an opt in required for this bonus, so make sure you opt in through the Challenges window, which can be found in your MyStars section either online or in the app, prior to your first deposit.  After depositing you will be able to track your progress in the Challenges window.  FoxBet releases the bonus funds at a rate of $1 for every $25 wagered, for a 25x rollover requirement.  These funds are eligible to be used in both the sportsbook and casino, where available, but sports wagers must be at odds of -200 or higher.  Finally the play-through requirement must be met within 30 days.

Loyalty programs 

FoxBet offers a loyalty program via the legacy Stars Rewards program.  In order to start earning rewards points you will need to opt in.  Reward points are earned across their sports, poker and casino products.  For sports bets you will earn 1.7 points per dollar wagered on single bets, and 4.7 points per dollar on parlays. 

Unlike traditional rewards programs with a direct conversion of points into free bets, the Stars Rewards program allows you to collect rewards chest which contain rewards of either Stars Coins or tickets and items tailored to the games you like to play.  Stars Coins can either be spend in the rewards store on things like clothing, poker sets and electronics or redeemed for free bets.  Stars coins can also be redeemed for cash at a rate of 2,500 Star Coins to $25 or used to purchase seats in Poker Stars live events.  While this is a somewhat confusing rewards scheme, FoxBet is one of only a handful of operators to offer a rewards program on sports betting.  This reward program is geared towards poker players, so if you plan to play poker in addition to betting on sports this would be a great program for you.
